nTammie as battled endometriosis for many years, a condition in which the cells that normally line the walls of the uterus begin to grow outside. The two treatments for this are surgery and hormone therapy to try to stop the swelling which is as bad or worse than the condition itself.
nSurgery had to be postponed when 1 week prior Tammie tore the cartilage in her knee.
